Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! WPGB has gone from steady top 5 to...12th!
These are 6+ numbers...listeners over the age of 6 years. Not a demo advertisers really care much about. Everything is targeted...women 25-54, Men over 30 for example.
It would be more meaningful if we knew what demo WPGB is targeting.
There are a few other caveats...the numbers DO NOT include stations that do not subscribe to Arbitron. My stations for example.
If you include those stations WPGB would be down even more.
Also this interesting comment from Voy forums...
WPGB is not interested in trying anymore. They make money doing absolutely nothing. Ratings don’t count for them. It’s a cash cow for CC because they have no overhead, just barter spots to fill. Whatever local revenue they make is gravy. They don’t give a crap about the product or trying to promote it.
Quinn and Rose are not there because they cost money. Like em or not, they brought listeners. And it’s a sad state of affairs when live bodies are so easily disposed of.

Thx for voy update P6. It is a shame...and I wonder how much longer Beck/Rush/Hannity will be in our market. They got rid of Savsge along time ago.
And I have to mention (because I imagine Quinn would be mention they Bob, Jr is only “dimly aware of his own existance” that Sen. Casey voted NO yesterday. No doubt Harry Reid will yell at him and make him cry. But I was really surprised because Casey ALWAYS votes in the best interests of DearLeader NOT what is best for PA!
Mr S and I were watching Fox, last night, when they showed the seven senators who voted ‘no’. We were both surprised that Casey was one of them!
And did you see Elijah Cummings lack of professionalism and decorum yesterday? What an outburst! He’s not there to get to the truth. He’s there to protect Dear Leader’s interests!
Cummings deserves an Oscar! He totally took the spotlight off of Lois Lerner pleading the 5th and put it on his histrionics! The Rs don’t have the guts (IMO) to hold LL in contempt of Congress...so give her immunity and see what she says.
If the cop Mumia killed wasn’t from PA, Casey would not have voted no.
