Sunday’s Academy Awards event showcased Hollywood’s finest. Beautiful people in beautiful clothes saying lovely things about their industry – a politically “progressive” business that gives nearly all of its political contributions to Democrats.

Democrats, of course, purport to believe that “the rich” do not pay their “fair share” in taxes. Democrats also believe in gender equality, that women should receive “equal pay” for “equal work.”

Typical. They'd gladly pay more but "their hands are tied because the irs rules say they gotta pay", what 39%? With all the loop holes I'm sure it's a lot less. But. They can voluntarily pay more if they want to. Just write the check and send it in. They'll take it.

As I stated in another thread with the same subject, the RNC needs to run a commercial explaining the process of writing a check to pay additional taxes. It would be interesting to see how much they get.

Getting to one of the prime leftist agendas--leveling the so-called earnings gap between men and women---if female actors were in as great demand as males, they would make more money. It's the same principle as music. If some female is more popular than other musicians, her recordings will sell more, and she will make more money.

I don't go to movies anymore, and I can't stand most of the new ones that the wife and I occasionally watch on tv. But like most males, I do not like what is commonly called chick flicks. I not only do not want to see films featuring females and their problems with their families and friends, I don't want to see movies featuring males and their problems with their families and friends. Like most males I would still rather see an action flick rather than one featuring people whining about their relationships. Just call me a typical male troglodyte.

The FORCED political correctness is as horrible and unfair as "affirmative action," that is, rewards for having a certain color skin ethnicity...er, for having NO TALENT.
It even goes beyond the infamous "casting couch." At least the babe had no "work" for her part. Others just have to SHOW UP.
