In a nutshell, a team of CDC doctors are sent to a remote research facility in the north pole to contain a virus outbreak.
The facility is privately owned and they were doing genome experiments and created a virus that turns people into zombies but not really zombies as we think of zombies.
The guy in charge of the facility, Hataki, has also secretely created a drug that allows anyone injected with it immortality.
I guess the background story line is that the corporation running the show has plans to release the virus into the world and recreate a super race with the immortality serum...
It's actually much better than my lousy attempt to describe it. In school I was always bad with book reports......
Okay, Helix sounds like it’s worth checking out. I think I’ll check the Directv guide.
I checked a couple of weeks ahead on the Directv guide. The episode rundowns are always very vague, but there are hints it might happen soon.
They seem to dole out little bits of information about what’s going on in each episode. So it’s a virus show, but there are a lot of secrets and mysteries.
