hmmmm...now I need to back again and compare both episodes. It looked to me like they were the same person (heavy set, balding). In the group surrounding Daryl, I'm looking at the guy in the 6:00 position (mostly with his back turned so we strategically can't get a good look at his face!).

The group that found him on the road included a fat, balding guy who seems to be the guy that Rick kills in the bathroom.

How does that work? Was Sunday's episode's timeline earlier than the "Rick under the bed" episode?

"And...it looks like Daryl was in the house at the same time. The group that found him on the road included a fat, balding guy who seems to be the guy that Rick kills in the bathroom."

I haven't rewound the DVR to check it out personally, but that seems to be the case. I read a Walking Dead forum, and posters there noticed him, too.

I'm dying here....if Daryl was in that house at the same time as Rick, I can't stand it. I want the group back together.

My husband said, "Maybe Daryl wasn't in the house....he could have given them the slip, or he could have been killed." I hollered, "DON'T SAY THAT!" LOL

The timelines have not been chronological for the various character situations. We saw the dead bunnies BEFORE we saw Lizzie kill them. We saw the remains of the track-side zombie fest BEFORE we saw Beth and Daryl stumble on it. It's an interesting puzzle for viewers to piece together.

I enjoy rewatching previous seasons during AMC's marathons. It's interesting to see how many clues the writers give us as to what will happen next. Now I know to look for them - part of the fun of watching!

Look closely at the boots in the bedroom scene.......The guy who choked the guy in the bedroom had light brown work boots on I think.......

Bandana boy wasn’t choked to death, only unconscious. Nobody would kill somebody and then lay down to take a nap when the body could turn at any moment.

So we can’t be sure about the timeline based on Bandana boy. Toilet guy is the only one we are sure was killed in the Rick episode, so without better identification of him, we can’t be sure of the timeline.

But it’s possible that Daryl was with the gang when Rick was hiding under the bed because they are jumping around from group to group showing what happens from prison fall to Terminus.

I read that all of season four spans only a week of time.

Yes ... I corrected myself in another post.

All that time jumping is making my head spin. But I don't think Daryl was with them at the house ... the guy that Rick killed at the house doesn't appear to be with the gang when they find Daryl.

Gabriel is possible as well. Whoever took Beth is likely the one who kept that clean funeral home trap which was sprung to flush her out where she could be taken. In fact there was probably a spy hidden in the funeral home and when her beauty was seen and her singing/piano playing were heard she became irresistible to her kidnappers.

Yes, the funeral home had to be a trap. Kept nice and clean. Food in the cabinets. It seems designed to have people come in and let their guard down.

In the episode before last, Rick was hiding by the porch and Joe was sitting on the rail. You could hear mumbling inside the house about finding a woman’s shirt and that she was probably coming back. A fight begins and Joe runs inside, allowing Rick to get away unseen.

Maybe Darryl is in the house and realizes that it’s Michonne’s shirt and the danger she is in and starts the fight??

I think the fight inside the house is toilet guy’s zombie attacking either the guy on the bed or unconscious bandana boy on the floor. Rick purposefully opened the bathroom door for exactly that reason.

That could potentially reduce the gang numbers enough for Daryl to finish off the rest or to escape out the back door and join up with Rick and Michonne and go rescue Beth.

I think that would make an epic episode

Im curious why the bodies in the funeral parlor never resurected or showed decay?

From what I remember, they showed one walker who had makeup on one side of his face/head — the other side looked like he had been a walker, because it looked pretty decayed. Not sure why they are doing this, though.
