Normally drivers dread having to pay motoring fines, but little Za'Dariyah Mishaw cannot wait to go to her local police department to hand over her $4.
The two-year-old girl was driving her small pedal car outside her Florida apartment complex when a police cruiser pulled into the car park with its blue lights flashing.
During a heartwarming moment, Officer Christian Velasco took out his citation book and handed little Za'Dariyah a ticket.

A moving violation is a traffic citation, not criminal activity. And it is good to get youngsters accustomed to the fact that there are “user fees” associated with using public facilities such as roads and it is best to happily pay the ruling class the fees which they demand so they will kindly grant you the privilege of continuing to engage in commerce. < / sarcasm >

If you can get her and a news camera into court for her to pay the ticket, you could raise a lot of money by cops and court folks matching the fine to raise money for the Police Athletic League.
You’d raise a bunch of money, and maybe make a tradition of it. One day a year cops pull over kids and give them $5 coupons for McDonalds, etc., and the kids can show up in court to pay the fine, where the fines are matched.
Opportunity for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to help administrate it as part of Citizenship in the Community merit badge.
And that’s what true bipartisanship looks like.
