Daycare is not a necessity when children are raised in a home with a loving parent who stays home to raise them.
Which is hard to do in a single parent household where the mother has to work. Or are you suggesting she go on welfare?
Which can only be done in a society and economy where the father doesn’t have to work to support 3 other fatherless families AND his own.
And they’re going to make it worse by creating a daycare entitlement which, again, that one father has to work to support OTHERS’ childcare needs.

No, it is a necessity if you think having a brand new car and fancy vacations is so important that you pay strangers to raise your precious children.
We decided to take a pay cut when our daughter was six months old and my wife quit her job to stay home with her instead of daycare. Over half of our income went away, but I am so thankful that we could have a fulltime parent at home. Daughter is more conservative than mom, and almost more than I am.
