The stupid thing is that the daughter said she didn’t know who the boy was. So the dad was led to believe that an intruder was raping his daughter, so he fired.
You should not break into a man’s house in the middle of the night and then get into bed with his daughter while he’s sleeping under the same roof. When you do that, you risk being shot and killed as an intruder and a rapist.
If you’re a 17 year old black teen, and an armed father finds you in his daughter’s bedroom at 2am, it would be prudent to put your hands in the air and make no move which could conceivably be interpreted as threatening.
The daughter should be charged for something. The boy was shot only because she lied.
Wonder where they dug up Curley? Perhaps he sensed some money coming his way to compensate him for his . . . grief.
I watched the video and noticed at the top it said “near Spring”. Spring is about 15 miles south of me down Hwy. 45. I read about this yesterday and the location wasn’t given so didn’t realize it was that close to me.
I said yesterday on that thread that if a person is in my house and I didn’t know it and don’t know him, I’m shooting until I know that person is not going to move again. I don’t blame the father for shooting.
