The Los Angeles Police Department has gone and got themselves a Lamborghini.
With a starting price of $182,000, the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo is the latest edition to the LAPD's fleet of vehicles, complete with traditional black and white paint and 'To Protect and to Serve' written on the sides, according to NBC Los Angeles. And in the land of high-speed pursuits, what better way to catch those bandits flying down the 101, right?

Like a dog chasing a car. What’s it gonna’ do when it catches it? The cop in the Lamby will have out run all the other cops and will be all alone against the perp or perps.
They already have helicopters in the sky that can track a vehicle. There is really no escape for any vehicle in the LA basin once you have that "eye in the sky" on your tail. Just have the cop cars back off to a safe speed and the copter will tell them where to go.
