Don't know about the FTL thing, my little mind thinks time and distance are wrapped tight around each other (one can't exist without the other).
If you go back in time, you would have to go back in distance or a negative distance.
Dang hard to plot a negative distance :)
Yes, it was a blistering 34° earlier today, but when it started to snow, the temp went down 10°F.
Space has no up, down, left, right, forward, or back, so maybe time doesn’t either. :’)
