Belle Knox, the Duke University freshman paying for college by doing porn, has upped the ante this week with a new blog post on XOJane.com espousing rough sex, and a spin around a stripper pole at a New York City skin joint.
“This is my first time dancing,” Knox told The Post before hitting the stage Tuesday night. “I’m nervous, but I think it’ll be really empowering.”
That "empowerment" line is the same one she used in her new, graphic blog post written largely about her first porn video, which included submission, name calling, and slapping.

This is just literal interpretation of what previously was only figurative in academia. She should fit in quite well at Duke.
There is no doubt in my mind that rough sex is empowering. Now as to who it empowers, that might be a bit of a difference of opinion.
Women with issues....how unusual.

My daughter studied extensively the topic of sexual abuse in college. She conjectures that the only way this young woman can actually feel empowered is if she was abused in her childhood. It’s a pathetic attempt to take back control of her sexuality. My daughter predicts this young woman will eventually crash and burn and will begin self medicating, if she’s not already. So sad.

She's not much of a looker. She's empowered by all the attention she's getting, but her 15 minutes is almost up.
I see her with a drug problem in the future, and hopefully she doesn’t turn up dead on the street or in some crack house (no pun intended).
See how empowered she is in three years or so.
Most women are attracted to powerful men and feel very empowered by using their sexuality to control them.
The roughness just confirms to them that the man is powerful and worth controlling.
A weak, “nice” man is no fun and not sporting. Like shooting fish in a barrel.
I said that when this first came up. These women all spout the same line while they’re in the business...empowering, having fun, I love sex...etc. When they’re out of the business is when you hear the truth...abused by male relatives, drug addicted, turned out into prostitution by boyfriends. If you have a strong stomach, watch the documentary “After Porn” and it’s all there.
From the way Duke played this past weekend, I think she gave them all the “clap”.
She’s not altogether unattractive. And she definitely looks better now than she will a few years down the road when she’s strung out on drugs and alcohol.
Why do I get the feeling she’s really, really mad at her parents, and wants to make them feel very sad?
Either its cold there or she likes the attention.

I know she’s not thinking of her personal future, such as marriage and family. But can you imagine her problems there? What decent man will want to bring her home to meet the parents?????

On the other hand, I can see some men, telling her they want to date her, but really wanting some freebies from her, if you get my drift. I can see her being hassled constantly about such things. A sad byproduct of her fame.
