Texas Demands a Picture ID AND My Social Security Number for a Fishing License?
Me

Posted on 03/28/2014 3:08:00 PM PDT by not2be4gotten.com

And my out of state address?

What about I just pay my $16 and get a piece of paper that has the state seal on it and a serial number?

What is the point of any of the rest of this?

What is the Social Security number used for?

If I lied about my Social Security number for my, oh, so, important fishing license, because I have an outstanding parking tickets in San Francisco and I don't want to be denied my fishing license, because I have already paid $100 to go fishing, am I potentially up on fraud charges?

And if I am committing fraud, how many years should I get?

This is increasingly happening everywhere as I have been exploring this great country over the last few years.

And I am a 30 year database expert and I have to tell you that collecting this information, over and over again, is potentially very bad news for the common citizenry.

There is not one thing about this transaction that was potentially beneficial to me, other than to not be arrested for fishing.

All this does is further empower whoever the current people with power are.

I am fishing with Captain Murphy out off of South Padre Island tomorrow morning.

What, do they require a retinal scan to go fishing in a blue state like Massachusetts?

At some point this has to stop.

Personally, I’m glad I’m old and headed for the chute.

My son, who is only 30 years old, tells me the same thing.

He says:

"This is turning into a nightmare, but we will spend an eternity with G*d."

It is an interesting perspective.

I have 2 DUI's AFTER blowing zero on a breathalyzer both times.

Apparently the cops can now throw you in jail and confiscate your car because you cant balance perfectly on one foot, or something like that. They claim you are "high" and need to be "taken in for the safety of you and others."

And the biggest problem is this is happening everywhere.

There is no place to escape to.
