Is the interweb slowing down?
3/30/2014 | me

Posted on 03/30/2014 11:20:44 AM PDT by Mr. K

I have noticed that Facebook and Outlook mail and You tube are extremely slow this afternoon.

Does anyone else here see this? Is there getting to be too much traffic?

Is your computer downloading updates in the background, or is there a full scan for viruses going on? If you have DSL, it can be unpredictably variable. On the weekends a lot of people in yor neighborhood may be at home catching up on their email.

I complained to Time-Warner about an issue of long standing with my service, I was experiencing an apparent throttledown at midnight, every single night, for about a half hour. Signal so weak from the wireless router that devices would drop it inside my house.

They “fixed” it. Now it happens at noon. What gives?

"Hey there, it's my job to control access to the innernet and people noticed you was spending way too much time on it so I was asked to throttle you back a notch. Now just between you and me, if you was willing to part with a carton of cigarettes and hook me up with a Papa John's pizza delivery - extra cheese and sausage - I could open up some ports and bring your innernet back up to speed"

"I do have a red sticker on my mailbox AND a yellow one- what does that mean?"

It means they ran out of orange stickers.

Red Sticker = FEMA Deportation

Yellow Sticker = Re-education Camp.

Just be glad you don’t have the dreaded two black squares.
