The forced insertion of dialectic into science reached its apex in the Soviet Union, where you could not publish a paper about how to raise chickens unless less it was structured in communist speak.
I was made aware of this when I read a book on stochastic control theory in the late 1960s published in the Soviet Union. The first 80 pages of the book carefully made the case that ... even though Communist theory assures us that everything is pre-determined, and there is no such thing as a random event, things are so complicated that sometimes it is useful to simplify things by postulating a mathematical fiction that an underlying order also contains randomness. The remainder of the book described how to control a system in which both system behavior and sensory data are subject to random perterbations.
80 pages in an engineering treatise. That told me everything I needed to know about the horrors of living under Communism.
