Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has accused the Malaysian government of deliberately hiding key information relating to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which could help in solving the mystery of the plane's disappearance.
In an interview with the Telegraph, the opposition leader, a distant relative of MH370's pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah, has said that Malaysia's military radar should have detected the Beijing-bound jetliner as it started deviating from its original route and turned back.
The "sophisticated" Marconi radar system failing to detect the airliner is "not only unacceptable, but not possible, not feasible," he said.
Anwar said: "Unfortunately the manner in which this was handled after the first few days was clearly suspect. One fact remains. Clearly information critical to our understanding is deemed missing."
"I believe the government knows more than us. They have the authority to instruct the air force ... or Malaysia Airlines. They are privy to most of these missing bits of information critical to our understanding of this mysterious disappearance of MH370."...

Yep — a cousin and supporter — that’s why I am surprised to hear him speak out at this time.

For that to be the plan they would have had to be pretty positive in advance the govt would lie about what happened.

That's one strange plan --
They bring down a plane in order to bring down the government --
And the obvious suspect in bringing down the plane turns out to be the cousin/pilot of the opposition leader.
And yet the government spends 3 weeks putting the blame everywhere else but on the cousin/pilot whose complicity in the downing, if proven, would bring down the opposition -- not the government.
But this is Malaysia and strange things happen there.

That is putting it mildly. He was fanatical about it and incensed at Anwar’s detention.
I’ve said from the beginning this whole incident was most likely a suicide mission by the pilot carried out to embarrass the Malaysian gov’t and bring attention to Anwar’s situation.
Assuming for a second that was the plan of the pilots because they knew the govt would lie about what happened, then it raises the question was there other plans for that plane involving the govt, maybe a govt sanctioned hijacking, and the pilots became aware of it.
Were the pilots taking the plane to a safe landing spot to expose the plot and the govt or another govt involved shot the plane down?
Maybe something along the line of setting up the opposition to the govt and making it appear as if they were a terrorist organization.
Not much different than the dems in this country making claims the TEA Party were a bunch of Tim McVeigh wannabes right before an attempted fertilizer car bomb in NYC which just had to be the TEA Party.
I meant the captain acted on his own. He had personal and political problems to do this act. The co-pilot had no such reasons.

Yep the plane nor any remnants are found floating in the ocean because its safely in one piece on the ground in Pakistan or now Iran preparing for the 2nd Coming.
The poor passengers, well that’s just their price in the aid to Allah.
I got you and I concur. I don’t think the co-pilot had anything to do with it.
By “they” I meant whoever acted in league with the pilot Captain Shah — like the “mystery woman”, whoever called him just before the flight, and whoever would have driven the getaway boat.

Just as a thought exercise, what if that’s what the Malay govt. wanted everyone to believe.
What better way to get the govt opposition out of their hair than to set them up as just another muslim terrorist group.
IIRC before the plane went missing there was a terrorist threat against China by some unknown muslim group.
Continue with the thought exercise.
What if it was a govt sanctioned hijacking and the pilot/s weren’t part of it but they found out about it and actually tried to stop it to protect the opposition leader and his followers from being painted as a terrorist.
Don’t say that’s not possible.
Again just look at how the dems made claims their political opposition, the TEA Party, were terrorist right before the attempted car bomb in NYC which they tried to blame on the TEA Party.
Had the dems been successful in pinning that bombing on the TEA Party, all the people whose names the IRS had been collecting as TEA Party would have immediately been labeled as terrorist.
And release the radar data.

Two official sources, who are close to the investigation but not authorized to comment publicly, said there were three main reasons that investigators believe the plane’s manoeuvres before it vanished from military radar on March 8 were intentional:
• The communications were disabled during the handover between Malaysian and Vietnamese air traffic controllers, the moment at which the jet’s disappearance from radars was least likely to be noticed. “That is the precise moment to disappear an aircraft – that was what was exploited,” a source told The Daily Telegraph;
• MH370’s unusual flight path – though little is known about speed and altitude – appears to have been programmed deliberately;
• According to the source, “all the investigators are saying the same thing – there is no precedent in the history of commercial aviation where the sat-com [satellite communications] and the transponder have been knocked out and the plane continued to fly”.
