It's not against the law to be nuts, and being crazy isn't a death sentence. Had she been wielding a weapon and firing all over the place, I'd be the first one to take her out, but she was driving away from them, and they shot her multiple times from behind...one in the back of the head. Her child was in the back seat of the car at the time.

It is when you put people in danger, or fear of bodily harm without legal justification
Had she been wielding a weapon
She WAS wielding a weapon..... half ton car!
and firing all over the place,
She didnt, and by the way, cars kill more people than guns.
I'd be the first one to take her out,
Not in DC you wouldnt. Civilians can't carry CCW.
but she was driving away from them,
....to resume MORE dangerous activities whilst the cops were lawfully trying to detain her.
and they shot her multiple times from behind...one in the back of the head.
Good. Same thing happened when Sean Nelson took an M60 Tank on a joyride.I'm glad he's dead too. Imminent danger to the public both of them.
Her child was in the back seat of the car at the time.
So what? She wasn't the one driving dangerously. I'm glad she is alive and hope that she is being raised by more law abiding, sane adults.
Nope...not against the law...but when you act like she was you leave a lot up to the interpretation of people surrounding you who have the job of stopping dangerous people.
The less you have to interact with the government the better for all involved. She kinda forced some interaction there wouldn’t you say?
I am guessing the officers on scene saw her driving as a threat to every tourist out and about and it may have looked to them like someone trying to escape capture or trying to use a car as a weapon.
I don’t know...but getting shot in the back doesn’t mean you were not a threat. This ain’t a 1950 cowboy movie where people stand facing eachother for dramatic effect.
