They can’t resist doing it. More weaponry floating around over there.

McCain is ecstatic I’m sure.

This is most likely a result of the meeting with the Saudi masters.

Of course, this issue should be big in the news, but it won’t be.

But the United States fears supplies of advanced weapons to pro-Western rebels

I wonder if ANYONE in DC understands there are NO pro-Western rebels...

They maybe not are extremist jihadists, but they are not pro western...

Islam is anti-everything to western values...

Prolonging the war is stupid, but then so are Samantha Power and Susan Rice.

First we go to war against AQ, now we arm and train them. These DC folks are on drugs ...

Is this some backdoor way to test our arms against Russian arms? This will not work out well.

More blood on Obama’s hands as he inexplicably continues to prolong this civil war.

Another outstanding decision from the mac daddy mind numbingly stupid sock puppets shining the light on his stellar foreign policy.

You just can’t make this stuff up even if was the plot of a d rated movie where the actors keep forgetting their lines.

How we have changed. Supporting the Wahabbists now. Unfortunately most of America is not aware of the Syrian conflict or who is involved.

Obama and Kerry never understood the real political dynamic in Syria. The Russians have a horrendous problem with jihadists in southern Russia. If nearby Syria becomes an Islamist state, then it will become a haven and base for the jihadists. The Russians support Assad to prevent that. The Saudis want to control an Arabic speaking Sunni confederation comprising of large parts of Syria and Iraq to counter Iran. Post bin Laden al Queda is a Saudi financed international Sunni fighting force deployed for that purpose. Iran wants Syrian locations for mobile ballistic missiles to counter Israel.

Sending more arms to the “rebels” does not enhance the security of the United States and merely prolongs the bloody conflict.

These idiots want a war to jumpstart our economy which worked in the past. Things are very different now. They haven’t considered that we might lose and they might bring it to our shores. Especially with the appeaser in charge who’s ousted everyone he can that’s not a gay sympathizer or won’t fire on its own citizens. I guess he can send in the pink berets for shock value...

Too much support for Saudi Arabia over the years.

So, how is it in Russia’s interests to support Iran?

The Tyrant will arm al Qaeda and then bring them to
America to enjoy themselves in the Lincoln bedroom
with the Moslem Brotherhood, already parked there.

Proximity, counterbalance to China and markets especially for armaments. Also the Saudis are the financial and inspirational supporters of the jihadists active in Russia. Russian support of Iran really troubles the Saudis and balances Chinese influence in Iran.

Right. No jump starting the economy with a war these days (besides, some would say: we can't afford it). If the jihadis came here, it would be the prefect opportunity to declare martial law ...
