As Bills fan, let’s hope he is holding some serious anger when they play the Pats in September.
I'm sure his comments will fuel anger coming at him then.
As a Pats fan, here's hoping his "issues" will show up in Buffalo.
An old supervisor of mine, played college ball and on to the NFL. Well, for a few games, anyway. As a lineman, he tore up his knee. They basically treated him and released him. As was apparently the case in those days, as he put it, you were just meat on the hook. Hurt? Get him out of there and get somebody else.
But it is funny to see former players like Spikes and Talib shining a little light on Belichick. Not that he’s too much different than other coaches in this regard, but he’s also no better and definitely not the god pats fans think he is. He doesn’t give a rat’s behind about a player’s health, that’s not his job. But if he can find a way to use it to game the system, hell, why not?
I never wanted him on the team. I’m relieved and glad that he’s gone.
