We had a dog with that problem. My husband is hard of hearing and expresses himself very loudly. I asked him to modulate his voice instead of bellowing, and the stinky problem disappeared. Apparently, she got nervous and swallowed air unless he expressed himself more quietly.
I really don’t get people who don’t try to reconfigure the situation to mitigate the issue. Lenny’ll be better off with a family that appreciates him!
Sounds like he’s got one.
I read in one of the James Herriott books years ago where a dog had a farting problem that everyone noticed; except his owner. Upon inquiring, it was discovered that the owner had lost his sense of smell years before. So, this was a win-win situation.
No, but it is almost exactly what he looks like. Minus the scared face from more than his share of time on the streets for so long. His one ear bends outward from what the vet said he had been pretty roughed up and it didn’t heal properly.
But he’s so sweet looking just the same....evoking much sympathy from those who can see the old scars etc. Golly, he’s so well mannered so when he looks at someone they melt.
Sorry about the loss of your cat...she had a good story too!.....It took about a year before my cat would even think about going back outside. I think he’d have enough of it and was going to stay put! But as summer came around he began to venture on the deck and slowly down the steps....he still hangs close to home even now.
Maybe you might consider going to the shelter for another cat....there are so many that need loving homes? Some even show their pictures on line so you can view ahead of time.
They say there’s a lid for every pot...
