Illegal Immigration might also be called "Illegal Migration!"
To really understand illegal migration, I suggest: "The Camp of the Saints," by Jean Raspail.
The Camp of the Saints (Le Camp des saints) is a 1973 French apocalyptic novel by Jean Raspail. The novel depicts a hypothetical setting whereby Third World mass immigration to France and the West led to the destruction of Western civilization. It sparked controversial reactions ranging from prophetic to discriminatory. Almost forty years after publication the book which influenced Ronald Reagan and François Mitterrand returned to the bestseller list in 2011.
Read this one in 1985 and it was a great, if disturbing take on the onslaught of third world refugees that even then had begun to change Europe. The scenes of the decimating of the cities of Europe by squatters were unforgettable.
Read this one about five years ago. Very scary. It’s major premise is currently being played out in Europe but on a much more protracted time-frame. Instead of the invasion taking place in a few weeks, it is taking years to unfold, but it is happening all the same. Read it if you want to feel a sick, sinking feeling in your guts.
...bump....
