Question #2 (inspired by your post but not challenging your position):

How many home invaders “were” there? 2? 3? 4? 2 entering, one sentry, and one driver?

Who knows.

Could an armed sentry enter after they’ve been hit (especially if it is a gang initiation crime)?

A millionaire in Galveston murdered his neighbor (allegedly in self-defense) then cut up the body and threw it out to sea (where it eventually came ashore).

He was only tried ultimately of improper disposal of a corpse.

Lawyers know all kinds of games.

Are you reading the thread? He got a neighbor to call it in the next day.

He also recorded audio for 6 hours before and 6 hours after, it is believed that he was waiting for the girl’s dad to come looking for her.

“I saw it as a static situation,” he told police. He said he also thought for a bit that although his Thanksgiving was ruined, he didn’t have to ruin it for others by calling authorities that day.”

“When the female stopped moving, he dragged her by her clothes and into the workshop, too. There, he said, he noticed she was still gasping and didn’t believe she should suffer, so he gave her “a good clean finishing shot,” he said. “She gave out the death twitch.”

It sounds like you are showing some sympathy for the two thieves, they got what they deserved.

You must be talking about someone else...Otherwise you obviously have troubling reading.

Fact is, what he did was not what a rational, normal thinking person would do.

Or would you wait a day before you reported ya had two dead bodies in your house?

Well, he waited for over a day before he called the cops, so your questions are irrelevant.
He shot thot them, and then moved them to another area to avoid stains on his carpet, and killed the girl with a head shot while she was bleeding out.
Your questions are not based on the reality of the situation.

Actually, you must question housebreakers, ask for ID

That's racist.

Moving the bodies (unless perhaps it was to restrain them until the authorities arrived) and a point blank shot to the head are going to see him prosecuted. Add in the delay on contacting the authorities.

I wouldn’t encourage anyone to copy his responses but it’s hard to find any sympathy for the home invaders (and breaking and entering, while someone is home, is home invasion).

I’ve known people who’ve been awoken by a personal pistol whipping and tied up for torment.

Thugs are thugs. It’s not a game.

“Guy needed to remember “I was in fear for my life. I want my lawyer”.”

Yep, that’s the only prudent way to do it in Colorado too if you’ve had to defend yourself in your home. Castle doctrine law here is pretty strong, but you can always sink yourself by opening your big mouth.

I am NOT the one that 'said'

That would seem to suggest she wasn't a seasoned criminal, but very stupid young lady who had no idea she'd just entered a house of nightmares owned by a crazy person.

I read well and that YOUR statement seems to show you are not accepting the fact that she indeed willingly broke into someones home.

Also, the fact that he waited two days after virtually executing them does brace up the crazy phase.

I did not and don't condone what he did AFTER taking them down. BUT they did deserve to be taken down.

If buying a weapon (and rigging taping equipment) is “premeditation” after numerous break ins, then anyone who decides to arm themselves AFTER such an event is “planning on having a different (confrontational) response” the next time.

Was he supposed to lock himself in the basement while they knocked about upstairs and he “called the cops” to alert them?

Would the officers enter or remain outside (as they have at numerous school shooting sites while the perps pick off victims)?

Was he supposed to fire a warning shot through the door as Joe Biden says?

Coming up from the basement should not be criminal.

Altering the crime scene, vindictive action (or was it mercy killing), and not contacting the authorities immediately are what he should be facing.

He didn’t come up from the basement until after he had killed them.

2nd one definitely deserved to get shot— UNLESS he somehow lured her downstairs,— as only a complete idiot would hear shots and go down without hearing from the partner...

That would seem to suggest she wasn't a seasoned criminal, but very stupid young lady who had no idea she'd just entered a house of nightmares owned by a crazy person.

Is this not true?

Breaking into people's homes is an extremely dangerous activity. They lost big, and no doubt he will too.

Does this sound like sympathy for the suspect?

I read well and that YOUR statement seems to show you are not accepting the fact that she indeed willingly broke into someones home.

No they don't. Are you drunk?

Lemmme ask ya, would you wait a day before you reported ya had two dead bodies in your house?

Lets hear it.

I have no problem with this elderly guy’s actions. Two able bodied young people are deadly weapons. They don’t need a gun to be so.

He had no obligation legally to stop shooting. There is not a law that requires a 2 shot rule for self defense related shooting..

Commit a burglary at your own risk.

Sorry, you must be trying to ‘answer’ someone else.

I never mentioned ANYTHING he did - one way or the other - BEFORE they came DOWN THE STAIRS...(other than they ‘alerted’ him by breaking his window)

My only ‘problem’ with him is the 3rd shot on each FORMER criminal....
I never mentioned premeditated.
Hell, I could be accused of premeditation when I say ‘If you or anyone desire to break into my home, I will shoot you’, you may or may not die but you will go down OR I will die trying.

You must be a LIB, can't have a discussion without getting (or trying to get) personal.

If I were to get personal with YOU I may ask what you mean by

Otherwise you obviously have troubling reading.

I previously took it as a typo BUT since you decide to 'show your arse' I will point it out.

You’re now evading the questions.

Shall I repeat them for ya?

You stated I seemed to have sympathy for the suspects. There is nothing in my posts which imply or suggest that. Otherwise quote the entire post.
