If you look at all the money
That is spent on trips and such
Should the Obamas not be asked
Not to travel quite so much?

This economy, ceteris paribus
Has been brought to the brink
By an idiot and his henchmen
Who lack the ability to think

The absence of logic and sense
Should be used to make an ending
Of any 1st family being able again
To do that kind of reckless spending...

I’ve got the A/C guy I’ve worked with for 8 years coming to look at this system as garage guy asked me to do-I think I know what it needs, but I need a professional to do the fix, whatever it is-I’m no A/C tech-I just know how to turn it on, change the filter and do some minor trouble shooting...

I found the weirdest thing this AM when I took Husky girl out at 6-three of those round glass pebbles you put in flower vases as decorations-blue ones-laid out like a tiny triangle in the middle of the top step of the deck. I do not have any of those, and I haven’t seen any here before now-I looked carefully at the path to the river and the one to the shop and gate-I even walked all the way to the stone seats when I got home, but there are no more of those things on the ground.

I have them here on my desk, a mystery that begs for solving, since I’ve no idea how, why or who would get in here in the dead of night, motion detectors and a locked gate, never mind lay them out like that...

and then to get up and favor the wrong leg was just icing!

I thought icing was an infraction in the sport of ice hockey. It occurs when a player shoots the puck across both the center red line and the opposing team's goal line, and the puck remains untouched.

By the way, Read took a really cheap shot at Cirillo, skating by and throwing an elbow to the head. Read was all but whistling a happy tune, nonchalantly and innocently skating to his bench, while Cirillo lay there in la-la land. None of the officials noticed it.

The way Obama and family lavish vacations on themselves while calling for austerity amongst the downtrodden masses would be laughable were it not so sad.

Thank you!

I hope history calls them the Louis and Marie of our time. I think they should be handed a bill for all but two vacations per year, but I don’t know if the law allows for that-it should...

My first thought was that a raccoon had dropped them there, because they steal and collect bright little things from people’s yards and decks, then drop them along the way when they are tired of playing with them. I’ve had them rip down and drag off small windchimes from the trees-it seems unlikely one would place something carefully like that-I don’t think raccoons are that intelligent...

I’ve never had a spook leave an item that came from someplace else, but I suppose it is possible.

I much prefer a spook leaving stuff, wanting to be noticed, etc-they are not a physical being, and are not into harm.

I would worry about a living person getting past garage guy’s multiple security systems on the property, and leaving things, because they are up to no good. If it happens again, I will set a little trap of my own after dark...

It could have been worse, like Duncan Keith saying Wakey, wakey to David Backes after Keith’s teammate knocked him out cold. There are guys who make it hard to pity them when you know they have delivered plenty of cheap shots, but wrong is wrong. And when they do that, they lower themselves to the other guy’s level.

That is perplexing. I wonder what would happen if you left them out there and maybe moved them to one side. Or just go ahead with your trap plan. Curiouser and curiouser.

Good idea-I will just put them back on the same step, but toward one side or the other-I’ll do it when Husky girl and I are out for our late night walk, and see where they are at 6am...
