I had a beautiful golden/blonde german shepherd years ago. He was to have been a police dog, but he was a wuss. I taught him how to talk to me. My mom hated it. There were claims he saved a child that had fallen in water. And he loved my kids; wouldn’t let anyone near them.

Few years ago I had a basset. He hated germans. He had lived on the street for awhile, so I figured he had a bad experience. He could even pick out cross breeds at the dog park. We would just have to leave, no calming him down. He loved everything else, but a german would set him off.
