I’m curious what make the Free Republic on Facebook group Official? I see a note from Jim on the page, but I’m not sure that anyone is monitoring the site.

It seems to me, that there’s a good amount of kooky crap on Facebook that would never be allowed on FR proper.

Who verifies these bloggers? Not a soul, that's who.

So.. by clicking, you could be funding terrorists.. because they can present a topic in a way that you like.

Give that some thought and then look at the history & habits of bloggers.

I’ve been here close to 15 years and on many other boards I’ve been to the rodeo before. It’s not all that many. Bloggers like Slemmons and Sultan Knish need hits.

Sounds like several people on FR. Not just their faces, but other personal photos they can’t resist subjecting us to every time the right subject pops up.

Is that her PERSONAL photo? That’s what I mean. For me, some people never fail to post their personal pix when the right subject is even hinted at, like they’re getting out their wallet photos. I tire of going to a thread of a subject I’m interested in, and thinking, “personal dog pix from MyStuffisBest in 1....2....3...posts - ding ding ding I was right!”
