Man's best friend is always trying to make friends with the family cat, but it's easier said than done. Check out these clips of dogs trying to get on the family's cats good side which can be tough under the best of circumstances!

We have the kids’ dog coming to stay with us for a couple weeks on Saturday. The cat is NOT going to like it. The dog has stayed a couple times before, since we adopted the cat, but only for 2-3 days at a time. I am hoping the cat decides to try to get along. Or it might be ugly.
I will love him and hug him and squeeze him... uhm.. which way did he go George, which way did he go?

The licking or smacking?

Nice ending, Slings! We wish all dog/cat encounters ended so well.
A-meow!
They’ll be fine as long as the cat has place to hide where he feels secure.
The cat will have the entire upstairs. We’re putting a baby gate on the stair landing, which will keep the dog downstairs, but I think the cat can jump over it or maybe squeeze through, if he chooses to do so. The cat did live with dogs before coming to us, but the dog just wants to play with every living thing, and the cat is not trusting. We’ll see.
Perfect solution.
