Now that it’s afternoon, it’s looking like rain. I have to bathe the dog today, we are going to see the grandkiddies tonight and she was specifically invited. She is AKA mud dog, for her muddy paws and belly.

Then again, I do often order more turnip and collard greens with our BBQ, but that is merely extrafoliage ....

With over 80 years of Socialist insinuation into our lives, it will be nearly impossible to extirpate all the Gov't tentacles. Once instituted, there's very little motivation on the part of professional Politicians to exit, taper off or drastically modify any program that "helps" people ... no one seeking reelection wants the money flow to expire attributed to their watch. These long-timers have become expert at ingratiating themselves with local & special interests that keep them in place, term after term after term.

In the case of Obamacare (simply a pretext I believe for eventual Single-Payer), there was no real Humanitarian OR fiscal need for a program of that scope, especially where much more reasonable, Conservative proposals i.e. to tie pre-tax dollars to Health Savings Accounts are routinely cast aside by the "Party of the Little Guy".

It was a scam from the get-go, a plan to take over 20% of the US economy. It had nothing to do with providing insurance for the uninsured and their numbers haven’t changed. All that happened was a lot of people who did have insurance had their policies cancelled and the new ones they can get cost twice as much and then some.

Are there any job descriptions
For working at the WH now?
Are requirements extirpated
That spell out when and how

Every applicant got a degree
Where it’s from, and the grades-
And maybe some real experience
In more than wearing shades

Maybe real linguistic skills
Instead of just political speak-
Not saying dude in interviews
Or lying when there’s a leak...

Robert I read your profile page today and have to say I knew you were a very intelligent guy - no question - but your comments on there just blew me away! I would never claim I understand everything you wrote, but I did grasp enough to know that your your ideas would have to make the unbelievers question a few things. Just wow.

Chan is not yet clean, but she was drained today. One of the myriad errands i had today. First thing had my hair done. And talked to my stylist who has agreed to come to our house at 6 am on the day of the wedding and do all of the wedding hair of the bridesmaids, the bride and me. I had been sweating this for some time. Originally talked to the branch of the same salon, near me, where xsgirls have been going- but they don’t know me, don’t know that i am a longstanding customer at the other, older branch of the salon. The mgr said he would be happy to open the salon early but could not guarantee stylists, bc he couldn’t make them come in early, they would have to volunteer. I spoke to him exactly a month ago and he never got back to me as promised, so i asked Leigha, and she said she would come to the house and bring another girl with her depending on how many up-dos there were etc. This way, she doesn’t have to split the $ with the owner, and we have a guaranteed person with whom i have a relationship, that will def do this. I felt like a ten ton weight was off my chest, and xsteen felt the same way. it was the only stresspoint that we have had thus far with the wedding stuff. Getting someone to do your hair for a 5 pm wedding, a 3 pm wedding or even a 1 pm wedding would not be hard. 10 AM wedding is another story. So now i am much more relaxed.
