Rachlech is a cheese I’ve never heard of, let alone used.

This afternoon (because I thought it would make it hail, and at this point will take moisture in any form), I put one cucuzza that has two true leaves, and is about four inches high out by it’s cattle panel home.
And no, it did not bring hail, snow, or any other form of moisture...

I did remember that for a science fair that my child once did an experiment with sound vibrations (as in bass) on plants, and the ones exposed to rumbling sounds grew faster and bigger than the ones not exposed to vibrations.

If I could remember what she used to “rumble-ize” them, I’d try that on the cucuzzi.

Well it won’t cost me that much, because I grow my own heirloom plants.

I do support labeling the food, because I think that people should have that knowledge before they spend their money.

I also like to know the country of origin for my food.

It is a French cheese. I’ve used it melted over boiled
potatoes. It is wonderful. My sister in law, is still
wondering how some that smells to “awful” can taste so good.

I’m all for food labeling, too. However, it costing so much is highly suspicious. I don’t recall Moo’s label changes raising the costs so much. Someone is getting MAJOR kickbacks. Then there’s the producers who are threatening to ban selling to Vermont because of the fines. Still, can’t wait until giant Monsanto gets slapped down hard.

Hey, two days and no one has commented on my ghost dog, lol.

I think all but one of the yellow plum tomatoes moved a couple days ago should make it and that one might still pull through. There’s a few others which should be moved but that depends on empty spots like where the chinese celery failed to germinate. I’ve never had any other tomato volunteer but those yellow plums are like weeds and I’ll take anything. Once again, there’s no room for melons.

The squash is starting to bloom so will have to stalk the evil bores.

After a few days of higher than normal temps we are now going to below normal temps, but no where near as cold as you are getting.

We’re starting to slowly creep back up again, but still 4-6 weeks behind; this is late March/early April weather. Local meteorologists have confirmed that, too.

The other “good” news is that the greenhouse cover I need is ‘out of stock’. Waiting for an email from them about when I can reorder it. At least I have the minis, though they don’t hold heat, so can’t really be used overnight right now.

A few of the potatoes planted Good Friday are just barely starting to put up stems under the mulch.

What about a hundred watt bulb in the minis? We covered up some of our fruit trees with plastic and clamped a metal lamp with a 100 watt bulb inside. It worked well.

That would work, but I don’t like stringing extension cords that far outdoors in this weather and leaving them hot. I would also need to add a photocell timer so it wouldn’t overheat while I sleep in. ;-)

I’ll bury a line to the new one; and I can put a thermostat controlled heater in it.
