Voter ID Common Sense. They Have Two And Four Years To Acquire A Photo I.D.,Right?

Posted on 05/02/2014 7:58:44 PM PDT by Cruz_West_Paul2016

So will racism and "Republicans Stopping Minorities" from acquiring a Photo-ID going to be the only issues Democrats will run on?,When they argue this issue on FOX News, someone needs to bring this up.Minorities have ample time to acquire a photo-ID.How busy can minorities be being they can't find the time to request a proper ID?,especially when in some areas they have 40/50 per-cent unemployment. As conservatives,we all know that Democrats are just trying to get them to vote with no identification and go from one precinct to another come election week.

If a person can't obtain a photo id and get registered to vote then he probably should not be voting.
We don't want foreign tourists voting, do we?
An ID is to make sure you are who you say you are, that you are eligible, that you vote were you are supposed to and then only once.
What's so racist about that?
It's to cut down on voter fraud. Democrats support voter fraud. It's abundantly clear why.

Barring Voter ID, I think the purple dye for anyone who can't produce an ID is a great idea.
If that's racist, then I'll gladly dip my finger in the ink too.
To show solidarity with the disenfranchised as well as legal voters whose votes will now at least have parity with ... somewhat less verifiable votes.

More reason for voter ID.

Here in Ohio the most acceptable form of voter ID is our drivers license ... all with pictures. Seldom are there any complaints.

At least with a picture ID, we have a chance. Otherwise, what the hell, just do nothing.

what will the left do next? ship illegals to all purple states? all of the swing states need to enforce their laws, all “Barley Legal” citizens new to the state have to wait 7-10 years before voting,,no more of this “Move in, vote, then move back to California” fraud!

“A bottle of purple ink is cheap.”

I’ve gradually come around to the idea of the ABSOLUTE NECESSITY of transitioning (quickly) to biometric voter identification. So if you leave your driver’s license at home you could still vote since you didn’t leave your fingerprints (and/or retina, etc.) at home.

It could be used to minimize many avenues of voter fraud and, where necessary, could be used as evidence that a uniquely identifiable individual individual has tried to vote for someone other than his or herself and thus committed a felony.

Biometrics could also be used to prevent absentee voter fraud. For example the return absentee ballot envelope could require a biometric signature (e.g., fingerprint impression that could be scanned to verify the identity of the voter) that could be verified BEFORE the ballot is cast.

Of course, the progressives would fight such a biometric verification process intensely since it would prevent their massive vote fraud.

And by the way biometric voter identifications systems are in use in many countries—some which are “third world” such as Ghana. America could do it with relative ease.

Another way to deal with this is via all-natural, un-washable, purple dye to be applied on the left thumb of everyone who votes in a given election

What with early voting that would have to be one heck of a dye.

Well, it is sad that those people advocating “no photo ID “ can’t get any cold tablets or any prescriptions, can’t fly to see their families.
Just beyond belief, the constitution only allows citizens to vote.

Progressive response if on truth serum: "Oh, they're not too busy; they're just not smart enough".
