You Lefties (I'm talking to you stirrinthepuddin) hate Nixon!

Nixon also installed price controls on oil. Nixon did a lot of dumb things.

Unless Nixon had set up some sort of Shadow Government, he was not president 30 years ago.

No. Posting the four year old article seems relevant only to you moniker, and that isn’t pudding you are trying to stir.

Yet for all their hand wringing and gloom and doom, the temperature rose only about 0.1 degrees F and the ocean rose by a millimeter or two.

"This in turn could raise the level of the sea by 10 feet. Goodbye New York. Goodbye Washington, for that matter."

If Washington had paid more attention to the growing Islamic Storm during the following 30 years, perhaps part of New York & some residents would still be around today…

Yeah, and he implemented wage and price controls too.

Remind me why he was considered a great anti-Communist again?

I understand that Nixon signed the bill that established the EPA. The problem is that the states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to protect intrastate environments. So Congress had no constitutional authority to make the bill apply to intrastate land imo.

Global warming, global cooling, climate change, and now "climate disruption" have been with us since the beginning of time. As long as there are drooling and babbling politicians, they'll always be with us.

There is widespread agreement that carbon dioxide content will rise 25 percent by 2000, Moynihan wrote in a September 1969 memo.

“This could increase the average temperature near the earth’s surface by 7 degrees Fahrenheit,” he wrote. “This in turn could raise the level of the sea by 10 feet. Goodbye New York. Goodbye Washington, for that matter.”

Aaaaaand, you Fk Tards have been proven wong at very twurn....

I recall Charlton Heston complaining about how hot it was at night because of “the greenhouse effect” in the 1973 movie Soylent Green.

Why would somebody talking to Nixon in the 80s be classified? Oh wait, the writer can’t do simple math.
