I’m mostly retired now and don’t really feel ‘tethered’.
I am especially happy when my two youngest grand daughters (the third, oldest is 10 now and not so much into it - with me anyway) are allowed to play with mommy’s iPhone and I get texts, calls, and Facetimes from them.
Nice. I work on the Internet all day, so I try to minimize my connected time otherwise.
