Autopsy: University of Arizona killed in fall while climbing tower on dormitory roof was drunk

TUCSON, Ariz. – An autopsy has determined that a University of Arizona student from California was drunk when he fell to his death April 4 while climbing a rooftop tower.

The Arizona Daily Star (http://ow.ly/wQ0s6 ) reports that 19-year-old Michael Evan Anderson of Mission Viejo had a blood alcohol level of more than twice the .08 legal limit for drivers. His death was ruled accidental.

3) Fall from high structure because your sense of balance isn’t adequte to support a stable crawl, let alone a dangerous climb.

Typical example of being “that guy” in college. Hey, that guy is climbing the roof top tower. Hey I think that guy is drunk. Hey that guy just fell on his head off the roof top tower...uh oh. hey I think that guy is DEAD.

I was out there last week and sat in the courtyard of a breakfast place as the students went into class. Oh my did I make a mistake by not going straight to college. Didn’t see this guy fall, musta been watching the cuties.

I had just finished a year in Vietnam and was discharged from the military in the fall. I enrolled at the U of A for the spring semester and was enthralled watching the blonde, blue-eyed cuties. A few other young men like myself probably got lockjaw with our mouths wide open. Of course, in Southern Arizona the arrival of spring means they wear only what's necessary to class and activities.
