How to turn off automatic updates.

9/19/10 1:25 AM

Since I have updated firefox I now get automatic updates, as I have a poor/slow connection and because I simply do NOT want updates automatically installed I want to find out how to turn off this annoying"feature". Chosen solution

1.At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options. 2.Click the Advanced panel. 3.Click the Update tab. The auto-update options are displayed. Read this answer in context 18

I got so saturated with the gays vs Mozilla affair that I just skimmed some of those threads. So I missed pale moon. I tried waterfox which I did not like. Right this second I am on palemoon

Um, I think I only saw the Firefox option. Although Firefox is the only browser I was using.

But Pale Moon is based of the Firefox base code, so of all the other browsers, it should be most compatible with a Firefox switch.

The firefox to pale moon migration tool works. I used it, You have to downland it. Close all firefox and pale moon windows. Then activate the migration tool program from the folder you downloaded it into

Palemoon also has a 64-bit browser. I’m using it now.
