I know my late husband is already with him, and our other sweet feline family members: Ginger, Goldie and Fudgie. They meant the world to us.

One more story about how cats care for us and each other. We had a fire in our home..I thought the dryer had turned off b/4 we left our home that day, which resulted in a basement fire with smoke damage to the upstairs first floor. My Siamese Ming Toy and his partner, our girlie girl cat Ginger were left at home. When we drove up to the house and realized that the fire was at our home, we saw the police officer holding Ginger in her arms, but no Ming Toy. The front door of our home was wide open and hoses and water covered the foyer floor. I then saw Goldie jump out of the arms of the police officer and run into the house. When the police officer went in the house, either she or a fireman found Goldie, and his pal Ming Toy, who was hiding behind the drapes in the dining room. Goldie had to save his pal Ming Toy, and knew where to find him. That's love! Cats can show much love, and like many humans, are rather laid back about it, but can show deep love and emotion in a time of crisis.
