I don’t think he will ever play - he will be such a distraction in the media the other big name stars will be jealous and will let him know this is a big boy game
the macho players will probably slam him a bit harder just to prove their manhood.
It is sunny and 67 here-it was 47 this morning at 6...
If schadenfreude is bad

Still pouring here. I am dog sitting my neighbor’s dog Cooper, another shih tzu. The cat had gotten out before they left and was at the door soaking wet waiting for it to open. She was in like a flash. If it wasn’t raining, I would have brought him over.

Last night, Husky girl and I startled several deer that found a way around the fence at the back of the property and were browsing up here in the yard. They freaked at the dog barking and lunging at them, nearly dragging me off with her on the leash, and were running around so frantically that I took Husky girl up the back steps to the deck and we waited there until the deer remembered where they had gotten in, and headed back to the riverbank.
I’m going down there later to find that gap in the fence and see if I can patch it-I do not want my veggies and herbs to be deer chow-I can barter those herbs, I already spend money to buy deer food for them, and there is plenty of grass down by the river...
Good idea, I hope you can block their entry.
I was out running errands early the other morning when I had to stop on a two lane highway, just where it goes up to 55. At least 7 deer had started across the road, not all made it, but they kept going both ways in front of me and a car coming from the other direction. We sat there waiting for them to decide where they were headed and to all finally leave. They went back up the hill and away from traffic after several confused minutes. A delightful interlude for me.
Did I mention that this year we have a neighborhood bear with 4 cubs? Quite the sideshow when they saunter out into the ‘hood.
According to my insurance company, the average person living out here hits a deer with their vehicle at least once per year-they are everywhere, even though bow hunting in season is allowed on the 15 acre and larger properties-I have to stop on the way to or from out of here to let them cross this road every day.
Pretty to watch, good to eat, but really dangerous on the road...

I heard talk of a reality show for Sam. Just what every NFL team wants, a rookie with an entourage.
How cool-we don’t have bears here, and the mountain lions do not like to be around humans, so we don’t often get to see large animals like that in the wild.
Fence will need to be pretty high. 6-8 foot seems to be the norm to keep them fro jumping.
Up north of New Braunfels, northbound from San Antonio with St Ronnie back to A&M, spotted a deer on the right side of the road. I tried to slow, but a truck tailgating me and at 65-70 mph I couldn’t stop or even slow very down very much. The deer paused, looked right at our on-coming car, THEN ran into the road right in front of us.
Bounded off our car twisting and rotating in mid-air into the hood of a car going southbound.
Bounced of of it back into the air and landed on the hood of the truck behind us.
We “think” the deer was died at the first hit, so it damaged the next two cars while flying across Texas dead.
Anything less than 6 feet is just an ornament and won’t even keep a goat out-the fence that is already there is 6 feet-the fence I had at the other house was 7 feet. There is a hole/gap in this fence someplace downhill by the river, and I have some fencing to fix it, if it is not too big a gap...
It is an Oprah show - Imagine how the Rams office feels - knowing every word and action will be highlighted for the world to see
