HONEA PATH, S.C. - Deputies in Anderson County have made a second arrest in a deadly shooting in Honea Path.
Authorities say 25-year-old Blake Randell Wardell was shot and killed during a "game" using a bulletproof vest.
Taylor Ann Kelly, 18, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with involuntary manslaughter. Later during the course of the investigation, officials found out Kelly lied about being the one who shot Wardell. She told them it was Timothy Dwayne Fisher who was at fault.
Fisher, 25, is now charged with involuntary manslaughter. Kelly is charged with accessory after the fact to a felony.
Both remain in custody at the Anderson County Detention Center.
The investigation continues.

If it can be proven the guy asked to be shot and explained it was safe to do so, I don’t think this trial is in the public interest

Amazing that these mental patients can plot a grocery list.
I don’t think I can agree.
A shooter is responsible for any bullet he or she fires.
If that bullet kills someone, then a crime has occurred, regardless of whether or not that person asked to be shot.
I don’t think assisted suicide is legal in this country.
It’s really a case of just because someone asks you do to something doesn’t mean you do it.

Pistol dueling is still legal in AR, HOWEVER, an amendment added to the law charges the survivor with Murder in the first degree.

That almost seem reasonable, but at the same time it seems like one could argue a case of self defense.

I suspect authorities got multiple stories from the 8 to 10 other people which led them to re interview the orginal shooter.
I think anyone who did not stop the shooter is guilty of assessory. Convicting 8 people who were there would be difficult. And this would only clog up the legal system.
