Congratulations! I’m bringing some shrimp-and-snow-pea kabobs, but the photo won’t copy-but they are great...

This is the first time I’ve been to a shower for a guy, but it is a great idea...

One reason Obama never says
Marriage is a happy state
Might just be that Michelle
Always has a look of hate

For everything and everyone-
It’s surely connubial strife
A saint would have trouble
With that woman for a wife

But they deserve one another,
The grifter and the lying fool-
She is busily stealing stuff
And he doesn’t know he’s a tool...

A rare comment in her defense...it would be difficult being married to a closeted gay man, while he pretends to be the best husband

We had our share of absence from each other as well. He got transferred to England, but I was still working
in California. He finished the job and came home again after about eight months.

And for a while when I was working in Southern California, he got a job in Northern California, and we
were apart while I stayed home and packed our stuff, had it shipped to Bryan, and repaired and painted our
house on the inside. I hired painters to do the exterior, though. It took me about seven months to do all that.

Then he got a job in Ohio, and I had another house to pack, ship, repair, and paint, which I did. He started
working here in December 2003, and I got here in June 2004 after shipping our belongings, cars, motorcycles,
cats, and the whole kit and kaboodle. So all I had to do was drive my car here.

well since i don’t know any bitter, disgruntled men in real life, i have only seen the sentiment here on FR.

Except for a little jokey/friendly bickering, we have always gotten along very well with each other.

When we do argue, we end up laughing more times than not.

The secret is escalation to heights of ridiculousness until you make the other person laugh, and then
it’s contagious. *POOF* end of argument.
