I’m not convinced he is actively homosexual, closeted or not-he doesn’t really fit the profile of any I’ve ever known-I had plenty of co-workers and clients of that persuasion as a casemanager, and a couple of relatives as well.

But whether he is or not, he certainly acts like someone with a narcissistic personality disorder, and that is worse-they are so singleminded about their own pursuits that every action and relationship is calculated to further that-so Michelle would just be a prop for him anyway. If I were her, I’d have found a discreet lover years ago-one willing to wait in the shadows until the jerk is out of office and I can get a chunk of the community property and unload him...

Thank you!

Considering that they will probably be torturing each other in Hawaii, it won’t be as bad as I would wish...

Husky girl has a liking for sunflower kernels-I’ve been eating a few tablespoons of them, along with yogurt, a serving of fresh fruit and coffee for breakfast for years, but she only developed a taste for them a few months ago.

Now the dog follows me to wherever I carry my breakfast to eat, inside or on the deck, staring and licking her lips until I open the container of kernels and put a tablespoon or so on a saucer and give them to her.

I asked the vet about this obsession of Husky girl’s, and she said she had never heard of a dog being crazy over those, but didn’t see any harm in my giving her a little serving of them...

She’s a dog. She’d probably be happy eating the shells. ;-)

I doubt that-she is rather discriminating for a Husky, a breed that supposedly will eat just about anything edible. She isn’t interested in human food unless she sees me eating it-and then only if the smell appeals to her. Of course she is also 15 years old and totally spoiled, so...

You tell ‘em, Kevin!

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/378228/narcissistic-creed-kevin-d-williamson

Imagine, if you can, the abjectly juvenile state of mind necessary to contemplate the hundreds of Nigerian girls taken into slavery by a fanatical Muslim anti-education militia — whose characteristic activity beyond slave-taking is setting fire to children — and, in the face of all that horror, concluding: “You know what this situation really calls for? A cutesy picture of . . . me!”

I saw that yesterday. He’s great and that is spot on. Xshub has met him and he is supposedly very nice and down to earth.

I’ve never played what’s in your purse, but I bet I’ve got a lot of that stuff in my cloth tote that serves as a purse for work-does that count?

I carry the tote with my stuff and I put it on the other bucket seat-I just take my wallet into places. My makeup, perfume, hair comb, hand sanitizer, tissues, flashlight, calculator and my smaller work stuff is in the tote, and stays in the 4Runner unless I need it. I don’t put stuff in a purse unless I go somewhere wearing something besides jeans...

I have very little in my purse. When the kids were little I had a lot more.

Today is xshub’s niece’s 25th bday. Her fiancé invited us over this evening for dinner and cake bc he’s surprising her with a party. They recently bought a house and are getting married next month. This is one of the first times we will be being entertained by the next generation of family, so it feels a bit strange.

I carried a loaded, huge purse when the cub was little, when she grew up I replaced the “kid” stuff with work stuff, and when I went to work in construction I replaced the purse with a tote-but still lots of stuff...

Have a great time letting someone else cook and cater to you-a novel experience, to be sure-and happy birthday to her, as well...

Well my purse is big enough to bring work stuff back and forth in but it’s only as a conveyance.
