Just days ahead of Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer, Disneyland on Sunday quietly raised its ticket prices and suspended new sales of one of its popular annual passes. New prices posted to theme park’s website showed that a one-day, one-park ticket to Disneyland or California Adventures will now cost visitors ages 10 and up $96, an increase of $4. A one-day park hopper pass, which grants access to both Disneyland and California Adventures, costs $150, up $13 from the previous price.

Last time I went (for a week), did not include a ‘gay day’. Even so, lesbian ‘brides’ were extremely evident. Hadn’t been to Disney World in 20 years - it was a shock, and frightfully expensive.
Ha! The brother in law and his family happened to go to the one in Florida on one of the gay days. They were not happy. The gays were easy to spot, they all had red shirts on. Apparently the coordinate their outfits.
One can go any place in Los Angeles and be in Disneyland.
How can anyone afford to take their family to these joints anymore. I know I couldn’t afford it.
Done the Park Hopper in Orlando as you mention big drop in average per day costs. Although the prices of those have also seen 7-8% annualized increases over the past decade or so.

And Remember, the Parking is astronomical also - you have to add that in. Here in FL Disney is the only park that has no really good deals for it’s FL residents. Everyone who lives gets the Busch Gardens/Sea World Fun Pass, because they really do offer a good deal.
It’s like Busch Gardens really wants your business, and Disney really wants to abuse you. When my family comes they insist on going but we always try to avoid Disney.
Double unfortunate, my wife still works and I am retired so she tells our visitors that I know the way around the parks better than anyone.
I have been to Disney World 38 times since we moved here. Yes, there is a trick to getting into rides without a long wait in line. And a trick to watching the fireworks and getting on the first monorail to bug out and be sitting at home in 30 minutes or less.
Fortunately, we know several employees of Rodent City who give us comp tickets. Always interesting to see the kids of employees gag when asked if they want to go to Disney World, "We want to go to the beach not Disney again."
We saw a old man with make up, a beard and a bra. And a red shirt. He was creepy.
Would you want to drink from one? It’d be like licking the bricks on Main st.
If you have young children or homeschool, go between the end of August and December, avoiding the Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays. Go to Disney.com and look for the specials. Get a package with hotel, tickets, and dining plan. The prices are the lowest you will see for Disney hotels, and the dining plan is free this time of year, making it all inclusive, plus the crowds are low. I don’t get the hopper option, because we don’t want to spend any time getting out of one park and into another.

For lots of people, a trip to Disneyland is the single most memorable magical beloved experience of their childhoods.
96 bucks is peanuts. It’s a trip to the dentist.
Ignore the jaded haters on FR who hate Disney because they’re successful. IT’S NOT FOR YOU. Suck it up and make it happen at least once for your kid.
You won’t be sorry.
My co-worker says it costs him about $1,000 for his family. They stay at a hotel on friday and go to the park on saturday & sunday. I like the local carnival at the parks. You walk in for free and enjoy the rides and the lights at night and feel you have not been ripped off.

I would have thought that with Gay Days at Disney World that Christians not only in the USA but from South America and Europe would not be going even If prices were hard the costs of what they are now.
So, who are all these people that despite these high prices and all the Disney Gay Days that still go to Disney World?

100 bucks for disneyland? Wow. I was considering going when I was at a trade show down at Anaheim. But with 100 bucks I can get two good bottles of scotch and have way more fun that lasts a lot longer.
I agree...it's a good thing for kids (and adults) to experience at least once.
