I pretty much hated Windows 8 at first, but since the 8.1 fixes, I guess I have made peace with it. I don't have any problems with it in Desktop mode, just like I had no problems with Win7. An app I found for my iPad called "RD Client" allows me to run Win8 remotely from the Win8 start screen on the Ipad, which is sort of cool.
Also, with the new IOS Office 365 apps, I am very happy with my mixed ecosystem for now.
Same with me, although I had my Win 7 computer fixed, there are still some things Win 7 does better or Win 8.1 can’t seem to do yet.
