NBA star can't marry his actress fiancée until she ends domestic partnership with her ex-wife

NBA star Brandon Jennings’ wedding plans have hit a hitch after it was revealed that he must first wait until his fiancée has divorced her common-law wife.

The future Mrs Jennings-in-waiting is Tae Heckard, 36, a video vixen turned actress who previously dated rapper Nelly and met Jennings, 24, through his ex-fiancee Teyana Taylor.

The Detroit Pistons point guard and his girlfriend have posted photos on Instagram of them enjoying a romantic getaway this week, but meanwhile she has set about legally clearing the way for the love birds to tie the knot.

Heckard, whose best known acting gig was a recurring role on BET’s The Game, has filed papers to end her domestic partnership with a woman named Monique Blanton, reports TMZ.

The pair became domestic partners in 2008 and according to court docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Heckard even took Blanton's last name.

Tombstone was good. My favorite is Real Genius.

So are you born that way or is it a lifestyle choice?

Mrs. Bill Di Blasio says it's a lifestyle choice. This isn't talked about much in liberal circles for some reason.

Know of at least three women who either left their husbands for another woman and then returned to marry another man or had a female companion and later married a man. Lots of confused people out there! AND some messed up kids trying to deal with their parents sexuality.

I know one girl, friend of one of my kids, whose father decided he would rather be a woman. Father shows up at her school play in drag, accompanied by his drag-queen "wife". My heart went out to the daughter.

So one can *choose* to be normal? But....but....

Yes, I thought that one's "gayness" was unable to be changed, that they were "born that way". Who woulda thunk it?

Our school male athletic director (who had three sons) is now a 6’4” female. First he and wife converted to Buddhism then they both decided they were gay and then he had a sex change. Poor boys!

Another was the mother of five. When she and husband went in for family counseling the wife was convinced she was gay by the female counselor. After ruining the lives of her children age 12- 26 she decided she wasn’t just manipulated by the counselor.

Poor kids

I didn’t see Real Genius or Tombstone. I’ll have to add them to my list (of movies to watch when I have time).

It doesn’t look as if this woman could choose to be normal, even if she wanted to. She seems to be an alien.

Nope. He.

Ever heard Rush Limbaugh? He correctly states: “It is I”

Not the incorrect, “It is me.”

“Is” is a linking verb. When pronouns follow these non-action verbs, use the subject pronouns such as “I,” “she,” “he,” “they,” and “we.”

FWIW, the latest fad to show you are not bigoted is to not have a preference for which gender you data.

You’re not even supposed to notice, though presumably at some point in the evening the things not noticed will become kind of important.

I suggest you buy a nice clean model from the showroom.

Absolutely right. Take the advice of Uncle Joe, the smartest guy in the Democrat Party.

I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking [girl]," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

Real Genius was a formula 80s teen comedy flick. Easy-to-watch, doesn't bog you down with a lot of details. I caught it in the theater when I was a teen. Fun movie.

Tombstone was, IMO, the best Western to come out in the past 20-odd years. A little violent - not your average 50's John Wayne gettin' 30 rounds out of a six-shooter shoot'emup - but Val Kilmer *is* Doc Holliday. Ridiculously fun to watch him. You can't help but grin when he delivers his lines......Bad Guy: "You're so drunk that you're seeing double." Doc Holliday: "Well....then I have two guns, one for each of yuh."

Classic.

Sounds like two good movie recommendations - thanks.

I can go for the mindless humorous and cheap gag movies (Top Secret was as dumb as you could get, as was Airplane, and I enjoyed both). I presume Tombstone was serious, but done well.
