From the description in the article this is a reworking of the Edwin Meese report on the same subject, with the same findings, 30 years ago under Reagan.

The neuropathology and psychology of porn addiction has since been corroborated by neurological research.

Im seeing more and more “secular” sources become anti-porn. Even Howard Stern is now saying it’s bad for you.

From what I have seen of porn, it has gotten more explicit over the years. And perhaps this is part of it.

For example, when I was very young, Playboy did not show full frontal nudity. The poses were strategically set up to conceal certain areas. Some things were left to the imagination. One could imagine having her as your playmate and all that, but, it wasn’t explicitly demonstrated.

Today’s men’s magazines such as Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler, show complete sexual acts, including intercourse. Much less left to the imagination.

And from what I hear, aspects of violence and control over women are part of much pornography today. And all of this is readily available over the internet. You don’t even have to go downtown to a porn theater or peep show anymore to see these things.

The porn pandemic ... the drug pandemic ... the “liberal” pandemic ... it’s a wonder we still have any semblance of a society left. At any rate, it’s not too long before this society is finished.

“we can organize world governments to take on the sex industry”

Politicians are part of the problem.

Yes, it's the internet. Where you can find anything.

Hustler changed that. As I heard a comic say once about Hustler ‘not even a Gynecologist needs to know that much about female anatomy.

‘You don’t even have to go downtown to a porn theater or peep show anymore to see these things.’

Of course you lose that quality sense of community that the peep show has going for it.

Playboy did not show full frontal nudity.

As for Playboy, I believe that changed in January 1972.

I still want the government out of it. Let the parents decide on watching porn themselves and obviously put parental controls on the computer until they get better then we are....And by then hopefully we will have raised them right. Get the hell out Government!!!!

Porn pandemic??? One only has to look to the new sex ed curricula throughout the United States especially in the state of Illinois. Parents don’t seem to care. . .I guess the “so what. . .laissez faire attitude” trumps the day. No childhood, innocence, etc. for America’s youth. Just look what parents have allowed in their homes with the satellite/cable networks. As in the days of Noah. . .it will only get worse. Evil is depicted as status quo and even normal. Who can set the standard? Who will raise the standard?

I hate to tell you this but your sentimental idea of porn is baseless....it still is objectification of women as prey.....

once men turn away from this....and I mean the grown up men who call themselves fathers, husbands, church goers.....once those guys stop acting like predators and teach their sons the same, this country WILL turn around, back to God, back to civilized society instead of this debased caustic hateful entity we have now...

start treating females with respect, and females will even turn around and become decent again....

In your middle paragraph, you state that 'once those guys stop acting like predators and teach their sons the same, this country WILL turn around, back to God, back to civilized society instead of this debased caustic hateful entity we have now....

I am currently reading through the Old Testament and I see many parallels between 'the West' and the ancient Hebrews. As far as when people will turn back? Unfortunately, we as 'stiffed-necked' a people as were the Old Testament Hebrews. We will not change until there is a MAJOR catastrophe! Enslavement by the Chicoms, as happened to the ancient Hebrews? How many times was Israel captured? Only after disaster, did the people turn back to God. Pray for 'the West'.

If I pay a women to have sex with me its illegal. If I pay a women to have sex with me and I film it, and sell it as art, its ‘free speech’. Really?
