*Poster with burning flames put up at Attleborough Baptist Church, Norfolk
*The sign read: 'If you think there is no God you'd better be right!!'
*Robert Gladwin, 20, accused the sign of going against Christian traditions
*Pastor forced to remove sign after police investigated it as a 'hate incident'

A baptist church was at the centre of a police probe after a sign which suggested non-Christians would 'burn in hell' was investigated as a 'hate incident'.

The offending sign at Attleborough Baptist Church in Norfolk, pictured burning flames below words which read: 'If you think there is no God you better be right!!'

Now the church has been forced to remove the sign after a passer-by complained to police that it could 'not be further' from the Christian phrase, love thy neighbour.

Robert Gladwin, 20, said: 'It is my basic understanding that Christianity is inclusive and loving in nature.

'The message being displayed outside of the church could not be further from the often uttered phrase ‘love thy neighbour’.'

Mr Gladwin said he was 'astounded' when he spotted the poster by chance as he was walking home.

PC police out in force. How is this offensive? It merely states something I’m sure atheists and Christians agree in. If atheists believe there is no God, they had better be right. I know of no atheist who would deny the grave consequences of them being wrong and Christians being correct.

Trying to keep your neighbor out of hell is showing love.

Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Eze 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

It's not love to let them die in sin. It IS love to warn them.

Closer and closer that time comes. Soon enough, the Bible will be outlawed, churches shut down and Christians prosecuted.

In the UK the Bible is hate literature. The Koran, one of peace.

His basic understanding is wrong.

Sounds like the young Mr. Gladwin has a very shallow and superficial notion of what love really is.

And as for “inclusive” (whatever that means), I see he has never heard of the preaching of the “narrow gate” in Matthew 7:13-14.

When asked for comment, Satan responded;
“Yes, I find the sign completely offensive and insensitive. I fully expect it to hurt business.”

The message is not Biblically correct. Belief in God does not save one from Hell.

“You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!” (James 2:19)

People misunderstand the nature of God. Yes, He is love and sent His Son to die fore our sins, so that we don’t have to. He’s also a God of wrath and slow to anger. The idea that God is turning a blind eye to sin and anything goes is erroneous. Jesus taught more about hell than he did heaven. The ignorance of the Bible is truly astounding!

Is this all the PoLeese have to do? I can see why they don’t have time to round up illegal aliens who are out there killing and robbing Americans.

A Baba WaWa interview with a Muslim...

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/stacy-l-harp/2005/12/21/barbara-walters-presses-christian-judgmental-not-islamic-terrorist

.................

W: Do only Muslims go to Heaven?

J: The fundamental thing is you must accept God. You have to believe that there is a creator. The Jews, the Christians, whoever believes in God and does good, will be saved.

W: Do Jews go to Heaven?

J: No.

W: Where do Jews go when they die?

J: They go to Hell, of course.

W: What is Hell like?

J: Hell is the hottest fire that is possible in the world. The heat of the fire in Hell is 70 times stronger than the strongest fire on the earth.

W: So everyone who goes to Hell gets burnt.

J: He gets burnt, of course. But if he gets burnt and that’s it, he would be relieved. But God revives him, and he doesn’t die. He’s burnt and God revives him again.

W: So only Muslims go to paradise. Everyone else in the world goes to Hell, yes? That’s a lot of people in Hell.

J: Yes, many people.

W: You are sitting opposite me. Would you like me to go to Hell? I am not a Muslim.

J: No, it’s not that I want it. It’s what God wants. You should follow Mohammed.

W: Or if I do not?

J: Then, of course, you’re going to Hell.

They sure picked the right police people for the left’s agenda over there, didn’t they. No refusal to investigate such a matter? No police chiefs with integrity anymore?

Well, Christianity IS inclusive and loving in nature. The Bible says that God so loved the WORLD(inclusive) that He sent his Son to save us: and His son is rightly called the Savior of Mankind.

People are free to opt out of this by sin, which is choosing to be cut off from God. They've un-included themselves. Nevertheless, this exclusion from salvation is by their will, not God's.

Scripture also says --- well, tagline:
