Yes, I did.

And yes, it was annoying. I mostly stayed out of it, but did have to get myself called “part of the problem” once. LOL

I never get involved in those things bc I want nothing to do with the nutjobs. OMG he was a nut, and how much of a nut must he have been in order for him to actively repel wannabe CA sluts who would be attracted to his flashy car and famous Hollywood dad? a HUGE ONE.

It is cloudy and 67-and I smell trash burning somewhere close, which always raises the hair on my neck-trash service only costs $30.00 per month out here, but an unattended fire that gets loose in these woods is going to cost the person responsible 10’s of $1000’s in fines...

To say that Obama is otiose
Just seems so understated
When everything he attempts
Is so vastly overrated

If he plays a round of golf
His minions say he’s thinking-
And pour themselves another cup
Of the koolaid they’re drinking

Obama himself said he’s lazy,
Said that is the Hawaiian way-
As soon as he’s out of office,
Hopefully he goes there to stay...

Camino de Obama conduce a un futuro en Hawaii...

We got over 6 inches of rain here in less than 24 hours-looks like it will stop long enough to let me chase all the leaks here...

It looks like here in Texas we are reasonably prepared if it all goes boom, according to the predictions for the primaries today...

AMC ran a marathon of “Turn” on Sunday and I taped it. I’ve watched the first two episodes. It’s good.

We had a gorgeous weekend culminating in 80 degree temperatures yesterday. Now we'll have three days of rain.

We continued our new tradition of going car shopping on Memorial Day. The wife's 2008 Rondo was starting to show its age and was out of warranty now.

We're picking up a Cosmic Blue Mitsubishi Outlander tonight. It's got lots of features without having to pay extra. I was a little leery of the brand and the CVT transmission, but they seem OK.

It's got AWD with different selectable modes, including one for snow. Heated seats and mirrors. Touchscreen radio controls with voice activation, USB and Bluetooth. And a backup camera and fog lights.

Pretty standard crossover SUV looks:

Oh that sounds nice! In your area the 4WD is needed for sure! I do like the idea of all of the voice activated stuff so you can watch the road instead of fiddling with buttons!

I like “Turn”-I watched most of the marathon.

Speaking of series-the 3d season of “Longmire” starts on Monday, June 2 on A&E. I don’t know what time, but probably the same 9pm as before. I really like mysteries, so I like the series-I’ve also started buying and reading the books.

Right now, I’ve just started reading Ira Levin’s “This Perfect Day” again, to remind me how dangerous feel-good prescription drugs are, and how bad liberal/communist utopia would REALLY be...

I don’t ever want to see it like in the book I’m reading-the more a candidate is against government intervention, higher taxes and regulation, and for personal liberty and responsibility, the faster I’m voting for them-the Karl Roves just want to take us there at a slower pace...

It’s got an “Eco” button in case I want to accelerate more slowly and reduce the output of my A/C. I don’t really see that getting much use. LOL
