(Reuters) - The Chinese government is pushing domestic banks to remove high-end servers made by International Business Machines Corp (IBM.N) and replace them with a local brand, the latest move by Beijing over U.S. spying claims, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday.

it’s funny that people think those IBM mainframes wouldn’t have back doors built into them before arriving in china. hell, they build back doors into linksys routers so they can spy on the average US citizen... of course they would have similar, if not more elaborate, spying capabilities built into machines to be placed in key foreign locations. banks, airports, traffic controls, city management, you name it.
