Nice dog! Ash had bone cancer, very common in greyhounds; she died Nov. 1, 2012. The best dog in the world. Once it was diagnosed, there was nothing realistic to do but give her painkillers as long as they worked. If they’d amputated her leg and done chemotherapy, she might have lived another six months.

Ash I take it is the more grayish white Dane, and the other is Piper.

Sorry to hear about Ash, I know it had to be painful for you also. How has Piper been doing without his buddy?
