This woman deserves a bloody medal for putting up with this crap.
And, for a series that lasted only 12 episodes (13 with the ppilot), it seems she had her high-beams on continuously.
She was 18 when they got married. She wanted to be a good wife. A good wife makes her husband happy, right, even if it's not what she personally would prefer ...
What's interesting about this story is the way she'd been programmed by society to think that her husband's going "transgender" and then "transsexual" was no different from his going hunting all the time and never being at home ... just something a wife has to put up with. Back in the day, at an early point she would have called her parents and said, "Daaaad! He's CRAAAAAZY!"
