A well-known Saudi farmer sold three of his camels for SR14.2 million (Dh14 million) to buyers from the Gulf kingdom and neighbouring Kuwait.
The first two camels were sold for SR6million each while the third fetched nearly SR2.2 million, Sabq newspaper reported.
The paper said the deal in the northwestern town of Hail was one of the largest camel transactions in Saudi Arabia despite fears the desert animals could be the cause of Coronavirus that has killed hundreds of people in the kingdom.
In some countries the price would be known as the Dowry.
So I guess Coronavirus is an STD....
Was Robert Redford involved ???
” the camels must be really beautiful!”
Must be good screws!
The parting must have been brutal .... sold off as sexual slaves to a strange muslim.
I spent a week in the UAE in March.Upon arrival, being jet lagged out of my mind after a 9 hour flight,I checked into my hotel and turned on the TV to have it lull me to sleep. What was on? Camel racing.I kid you not.
It took me a while to get that.
Dang ... beat me to it.
Yes you are...........
How big was the dowry?
not a movie goer ???
:)
With God as my Judge...it's true. The commentary was in Arabic.I don't know if it was a local Dubai station or a cable channel.
They have little remote control mechanical jockeys beating on them down the track, pretty funny. Camels running has to be one of the funniest things nature has come up with.
