A high school graduation in Maryland is gaining national attention for the immaturity of the adults in attendance rather than the success of the students onstage.

A massive brawl broke out outside Towson University’s SECU Center on Tuesday after the Randallstown High School class of 2014 took the stage for their diplomas, according to local media.

Full-grown men and women were exchanging punches while their embarrassed children looked on in graduation gowns.

So the high school is near Towson University?

Not surprised.

Anyone here see the multiple posts on Towson State's debate team?

They won the national championship after their team ignored the official debate question, and, instead, delivered incoherent, maniacal, Ebonic rants.

The video is beyond belief.

No picture of the debate jurors, but I assume they were all terrified Left wing white professors.

AI bet it’s those pesky Amish again..

Go take a look . . . and you'll see why historically this could have been avoided by picking our own damned cotton.

“men with...no shirts,”

I thought that too, but looking at the pictures a second time, I think that guy’s shirt got torn off in the fight.

I don’t know about the Union, but the Republic died about 50 years ago....

I am an urban high school teacher.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Judging them strictly on the “content of their character” and not the “color of their skin”, I give them an F-minus!

“It probably started over an argument over who was the better composer, Beethoven, or Mozart.”

Actually, the debate was on the merits of Wagner over Elgar.

How can we ever hope to embrace diversity and achieve unity amongst the races if we continue to make these assumptions? (I joke...)

No wonder they took it to The Ring.

“Mesopotamians?”

Laughed out loud at that one...refreshing change from the standard.

I blame George Bush. All his fault.

I would definitely throw a punch for Beethoven!

But, seriously, folks, the biggest danger we ever faced upon graduation was passing out in the un-airconditioned auditorium in the June Heat.

“We’re paying a dam high price for cotton.”

It would be an interesting project, for someone of that bent, to figure out the true cost of a standard cotton shirt. I’d wager well into the thousands.

“...could have been avoided if we picked our own damn cotton”.

For that reason alone I’m glad Lincoln spanked the South.

I guess it depends on what you mean by near. From Towson U, it would be 10 so minutes on the beltway, maybe a couple more, and then maybe another 10 or so from the Liberty Road exit off of the beltway.

Randallstown High doesnt have facilities to conduct a graduation, so like many of the larger high schools, they go to the various local colleges that do have the facilities.

Randallstown is not in the city, it is in Baltimore County, very suburban. My wife graduated from there. She’s not Amish. It was racially mixed back in the days when she was there, but is now majority black, like the area itslef.

A sad but true observation. And yet, even with this culling, we remain only a generation or two away from demographic destruction. Throw the tattered and abused race card if you must ... but it holds no power over me.

Demographics is destiny.
