Police have released a recording of a woman who dialled 999 to request help in a row over the number of sprinkles on an ice cream.
The caller, who was not named by West Midlands Police, contacted emergency operators while arguing with the owner of an ice cream van.
During a minute-long call, the indignant woman told the operator: "It doesn't seem like much of an emergency but it is a little bit because I've ordered an ice cream and he's put bits on one side and none of the other.
"He's refusing to give me my money back and saying that I've got to take it like that."
Chief Superintendent Jim Andronov urged the public not to misuse the 999 system

My daughter used to. eat them out of the jar
Reminds me of the time when I was 5 and I ate a whole stick of butter when mom wasn't in the room.
Little kids do crazy stuff.
I would sprinkle salt into my palm and lick it.
my little sisters would do that when they were little. Once mom called out “who wants some salt?” and my little sisters came running for it like it was a treat!
The sprinkles were just on one side of the cone?
Maybe those weren’t sprinkles at all, just dirt after he dropped the cone in the truck...
We are in a brave new era, she may ALREADY BE an Obama voter...

What is 999?
