The story here and from the local papers makes it sound like this has been part for the course with this couple for years. Too bad the daughter isn’t in a financial position to take care of her siblings and let the mom sit in jail where she belongs.

My POINT was, why was a good Christian girl having sex? She had to have sex to get knocked up. As least, that's the way I remember it.

Sorry if I was not clear. Less likely to use contraception to prevent pregnancy and less likely to use abortion to terminate a pregnancy. So more likely to end up knocked up despite possibly lower levels of activity.
I was in a local pro life center and heard this little horror story. I won't name names but here it is. A local preacher of a big church in the area forced his teen daughter to have an abortion because he did not want him or his church to be embarrassed because of her out of wedlock pregnancy. So yes the baby is dead, the teen is wounded just so everything can be hunky-doory at that church with that minister. Now I don't know that the minister's girl or this child in this story are or are not "good Christians". I'm not here to judge. I'm here to keep babies from being slaughtered and women from being wounded. Can we keep our focus on this and pray for their salvation afterwards?
Her Parents were abusive I’m not surprised this teen fell prey to some guy who left her pregnant. This happens alot in dysfunctional families.

Have mercy, my friend. She’s a young girl from a very (obviously) broken family. Thank goodness the baby wasn’t murdered. Pray for all involved.
