A man from County Roscommon, Ireland has been constantly hiccupping for two years after a boozy night out and has discovered that there is probably no cure to his problem.
Daniel Clavin said that the hiccups had taken over his life and he did not know if he will ever get rid of them, the Daily Star reported.
The 38-year-old said that he had tried just about everything i.e. all the old wives cures but he could not stop and he spent most nights in a different room from his wife so that she was not disturbed.
Clavin was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and believes that the hiccups could be a symptom of the disease.
Clavin said that he was told that he has got a high burden of the disease and this was the only symptom so far, therefore, he could not complain.
This works every time.
Fill a glass with water. Insert a straw. Now seal your ears air-tight with your fingers. Drink entire glass of water through straw while holding your ears air-tight.
Watch for him to sue the distiller of whatever he drank. That is the world we live in.
Dehydrated. Drink alot of water and the hiccups go away. Take magnesium too which relaxes the smooth muscle lining.
It works because you’re dehydrated :)

Don’t know what they’re using now, but Thorazine in modest doses used to work like a charm.
I had hickups after getting my gallbladder removed. went out for 6 hours and then stopped and I got 3 hours of sleep and back they went. they where so strong it woke me up..
Doc gave me some bills, I felt like I was gonna barf for 30 seconds and they where gone.
I assume (I should probably read the story eh?) this drug was used on him with no results.

I tried it once — it didn’t work.
I substituted the water with 101 proof Wild Turkey and I had a reaction I did not expect.
